1、 Standards and Basic Attributes
ASME SA213 T92 alloy steel pipe follows the ASME SA-213/SA-213M standard and belongs to high chromium molybdenum alloy heat-resistant steel. It is suitable for high temperature and high pressure environments, such as supercritical boilers and power plant equipment, with a working temperature of ≤ 625 ℃ 14. The composition design has been optimized based on T91, improving creep resistance and durability strength.
2、 Chemical composition and alloy properties
Cr (about 9%), Mo (0.3-0.6%): enhances high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance;
V (0.15-0.25%), Nb (0.04-0.09%): Refine grain size and enhance creep resistance;
C (0.07-0.13%), N (0.03-0.07%): Control the carbon content to improve weldability and stabilize the structure with nitrogen element.
3、 Physical and mechanical properties
High temperature performance: Excellent endurance strength, significant creep resistance, suitable for long-term high-temperature working conditions;
Mechanical properties: Tensile strength ≥ 440MPa, yield strength ≥ 30MPa (some data may need to be adjusted according to specific specifications), elongation ≤ 250HB 37;
Surface treatment: usually rust removal, sandblasting or smooth and flat state to ensure corrosion resistance and installation adaptability.
4、 Manufacturing and Technology
Production process: using hot rolling, cold rolling or cold drawing technology, with an outer diameter range of 18-720mm and a wall thickness of 2-100mm, supporting customized cutting and processing;
Delivery status: Normalized treatment to ensure uniform and stable material organization;
Welding requirements: Preheat to 200-300 ℃ and tempering (760-780 ℃) after welding to eliminate stress.
5、 Application Fields
Power industry: High temperature superheaters, reheaters, and main steam pipelines of supercritical boilers;
Petrochemical industry: hydrogenation reactor, high-temperature cracking unit pipeline;
Ships and nuclear power: ship boiler fittings, high-pressure equipment for nuclear power plants.
