5、 Processing and usage suggestions
Weldability: Good, it is recommended to use low hydrogen welding rods and preheat to 100-150 ℃ (when the thickness is greater than 20mm).
Cold processing: It can be bent or expanded, and the deformation rate needs to be controlled to avoid cracking.
Corrosion resistance: Suitable for dry environments without special protection. For humid/corrosive environments, it needs to be coated or replaced with weather resistant steel (such as S355J2W).

Standard update: Confirm the latest specifications in the project location (such as EN 10210:2017 replacing the old version).
Procurement parameters: Clearly define delivery status (normalizing/N, or hot rolling), dimensional tolerances, and testing requirements (such as ultrasonic testing).
Alternative materials: If higher toughness is required, S355J2 (-20 ℃ impact energy ≥ 27J) can be considered.
